We work with you ongoing to ensure your goals, financial situation and investment strategy remain aligned and on track.
Where necessary, we incorporate personal insurance advice to ensure you can achieve your goals should the unexpected happen.
How we do it
“Know what you own and why you own it”
We believe in a multi-discipline investment strategy, using both strategic and tactical asset allocation to actively manage the risk in our clients’ portfolios. We do this by individually tailoring each portfolio using a Core-Satellite approach.
The Core of the portfolio is built via managed funds of top performing fund managers investing in publicly traded investments like equities, bonds and alternative assets. We diversify the investments across asset classes, sectors, market sizes, and more. Allocation of a portfolio in this diversified manner helps reduce risk, so clients can stay invested for the long run and achieve their ultimate financial goals.
The Satellite portion of our approach consists of specialty investments with higher risk and return characteristics. Satellite investments can expedite achieving financial goals and provide exposure to areas of interest, but not at the expense of any fundamental goals being achieved. These include speciality funds, private equity/credit and property syndication development opportunities.
Combined, our Core-Satellite approach helps us to provide attractive investment options for our clients, while keeping a sharp focus on managing risk and minimising volatility.
We undertake dynamic risk profiling and monte carlo simulations with you, utilising our research and projection software tools. This ensures your portfolio has the right Core and Satellite investments relative to the level of risk you are willing to take to achieve your goals.
